We have tested the new functions with the beta-version and once more doff our hats to Alessandro and his co-authors. This new version is a great improvement, although some minor bugs appeared, of which we’re sure they will soon be eliminated.
One thing to consider when using the Slic3r v1.2.0-experimental together with the Kühling&Kühling RepRap Industrial 3D printer is the customizable bed shape. The origin of the print bed has moved, which means alteration of the tool center point is needed. We will take account of this and will ASAP adapt the slicing-profiles available at our GitHub repository.
We recommend waiting for the stable version before using it with your RepRap Industrial. Until then, if you could not bite back installing the latest Slic3r, follow the instructions given at our tips&tricks section.
